NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH
ALERT* [ARCHIVES] Suspicious Blue Van
May 16, 2005
(original alert May 10, 2005)
PLEASE CONTINUE TO
BE ON THE WATCH FOR a light blue van last seen in the Henderson Road/Aspen
Court area (street across from Regal Way).
Aspen Court
residents continue to be proactive by staying alert and providing us with
the following information.
-
The blue van was seen circling Aspen Court twice around 9:40PM on Sunday
5/15/05. It crossed over to Regal Way after the first visit and
immediately returned a second time. The van is still with a temporary
tag.
- Light
blue, older model, utility van with a ladder on the back door
(manufacturer/model not identified)
- There is
no license plate number – only a temporary tag (dealer/sales name or date
issued not identified)
-
Didn’t notice any markings of any kind on the side of the van
-
Previous sightings. It seems there is a pattern
of Sunday evenings.
-
Suspicious activity has been reported to the Police.
- “Extra
patrol request” has been requested by Sharen Dorcon - DeKalb County Police
Bureau Services, Crime Prevention Specialist. The request means a problem
has been pointed out (cited Sunday pattern). If officers in the area have
extra time while not responding to a call, they should patrol through this
area whenever possible. This patrol request is issued only for a
temporary time (spoke with Ms. Dorcon on 5/16/05).
How can I help?
